The idea of the Transparency Test is to make you think about transparency-related issues. After answering a few simple questions, you will learn how transparent your media content really is. You will also receive a summary of results and recommendations for making your content more transparent.
Any media or communication specialist is welcome to take this test to evaluate levels of transparency of one’s content.
The questionnaire is based on research findings from the TAO Project, Transparency of New Forms of Media Advertising Online, funded by Helsingin Sanomat Foundation, in collaboration with a research team at the Department of Communication, at University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
